Believe it or not, Marc Jacobs has been named the new creative director of Diet Coke. The designer has been signed for one year as it celebrates its 30th anniversary, following in the footsteps of fashion giants Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier. Jacobs will be designing a limited edition set of bottles and cans. In celebration of Diet Coke's three decades, the designs will illustrate female empowerment through the 80s, 90s and "Noughties".
"I feel very privileged to be the new creative director of Diet
Coke and put my stamp on the 30th anniversary campaign,"
said Jacobs. "Diet Coke is an icon - and I love an icon."
